Virginia Beach Maternity Session at Cromwell’s Produce

One of my favorite parts of being a photographer in Virginia Beach is watching couples’ stories unfold over the years. I first photographed Katie and Brady for their engagement session and wedding day, so it was such a joy to capture this next big milestone—welcoming their baby boy (name still to be decided!).

Katie and I share so many mutual friends through my other clients, and it always feels special to be the “designated photographer” for this amazing circle. For this maternity session, Katie wanted something different from the beach, so we went for a rural, country vibe instead. My friend Will at Cromwell’s Produce graciously let us explore the farm after hours, and it turned out to be the perfect backdrop.

We wandered through late summer blooms, noticed the first hints of fall color, and soaked in that gorgeous September air. It was such a peaceful setting to celebrate this sweet season of anticipation.

Katie and Brady are going to be incredible parents, and I’m beyond excited for them as they step into this new stage of life and marriage. Documenting their journey has been such an honor, and I can’t wait to see what comes next for their growing family.
