Engagement Session in Virginia Beach, VA

Jordan is a wedding photographer in the area, so you know how seriously flattered I was that she chose me to photograph her engagement and big day. What a huge compliment!!!

This session was one of the first ones this fall that I determined I really wanted to incorporate meaningful themes for the couple. Playing special music is great, and going to an important place is so sentimental, but I wanted to take Jordan and Brandon on a date to evoke some serious feelings for them!

So I asked them while planning….what’s one of your favorite things to do together? And if you’re a 757 local, you may smile at the response.

“Dirty Buffalo”.

YUP. I instantly knew we had to have a little picnic right there in the middle of Pleasure House Point to commemorate allllll the date nights and take out nights they’d had centered around these delicious wings. (They love dirty buff so much that they were headed to meet friends there after our session).

Falltime in Virginia Beach is gorgeous, and even though the warm weather lasts sometimes a little too long, we get blessed with the most beautiful blooms while also enjoying the slightly crisper air and stunning sunsets.

I’m so excited to be able to photograph their wedding next November!! It can’t come soon enough.
