Maternity Photography Session in Virginia Beach | Juliana & Joey’s Growing Family Story

As a maternity, couple and family photographer, there are some stories that stay with you—and Juliana and Joey’s journey is one I’ll always treasure. They were the very first couple to trust me with their wedding photography. We started with their engagement photos in the winter of 2018, celebrated their summer 2019 wedding together, and since then I’ve had the honor of capturing their growing family through maternity, newborn, and now maternity photos for baby #2.

Because Juliana grew up knowing my in-laws, being part of their milestones feels especially meaningful. Watching their family grow over the years has been such a beautiful reminder of why I love documenting these chapters.

Now, they’re preparing to welcome baby number two, another planned home birth, just like their first. Juliana is incredible, and her calm strength throughout motherhood continues to inspire me.

Beyond their growing family, Juliana and Joey are also building a thriving rental property business. I love seeing the entrepreneurship and legacy they’re creating for their children. Capturing their journey, personally and professionally, is so special to me.

This session was such a blast…perfect weather, lots of laughs, and their usual sweet energy. Honestly, they make my job way too easy.
