The Harihan Family

Mini Family Session

My first introduction to the Harihan family came via Drew about a year ago. He came home one night from his Tuesday night men’s group and informed me of this family that was just like us. Cam, he informed me, was from Chesapeake (like me!). Emily, his wife, hailed from Virginia Beach.

[side note: being actually from the area is a bit of an anomaly in a military heavy town and a very military dense church!]

But the similarities did not stop there!

Cam & Emily’s two daughters, Hattie and Joanna, were the exact same age as Riley and Declan, and Emily and I were both pregnant with babies #3!

Over the summer I made the bold “first move” in friending Emily on facebook before we had actually officially met. We became very fast friends. From chatting about the random mutual friends we had, to commiserating {praying} over second child syndrome, to having deep spiritual talks…it wasn’t long before we were sending daily Marco Polos and attending the same moms group/bible study.
