Chippokes Maternity Session

Chippokes State Park in Surry, VA is a hidden gem that offers some of the most gorgeous sunsets I’ve seen.

I was so excited when Amber and Michael agreed to visiting Chippokes to document Amber’s maternity pictures. As of this fall, part of the trails have been washed out due to heavy rains and I’m not sure whether they’ve been repaired or not.

Amber and Michael found out whether they were having a boy or a girl, but chose to keep it a secret under the baby was born, which I actually really love the idea of. It allows you to be able to celebrate and share your pregnancy with others, while still being able to enjoy something special just between the two (three!) of you. Baby Archie made his arrival in late November, and I absolutely love the pictures I’ve been seeing.
