Richmond, VA is truly one of the best cities to live in if you want to be close to literally everything and eat the best food ever.

Even though I’ve never lived in Richmond, I can objectively say that it’s a great place to be. The city is bustling, vibrant, and has so much to offer, especially in terms of the arts. Jamie and Catie-Reagan are both in the arts field (Jamie works in movies and Catie-Reagan teaches art). Richmond is home to VCU which has a stellar art program that is pretty well known, and draws all sorts of artistic and creative folks to the area.

If Richmond itself wasn’t enough of a draw, the surrounding area is truly beautiful and close to so many different landscapes. About an hour from Richmond is the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah National Park, two hours away is Virginia Beach, and running right through Richmond is the James River, where we had our session! Belle Isle in the fall is truly unparalleled, and I’m so grateful we were able to catch the sunset together on this November evening.
