Haylee & Troy - Gatlinburg, TN

In mid-December we took a family trip to visit the Great Smoky Mountain National Park…

and it was truly one of the best trips I’ve ever been on! We drove halfway and stopped in Greensboro then continued on until we reached Gatlinburg that evening. It truly went much better than I thought it would with two toddlers and a German Shepherd puppy.

Gatlinburg is filled with tons of great places to eat (bbq especially) and so many fun things to do, especially with kids! In Gatlinburg itself there was some amazing dining like a brunch place called Ruby Sunshine and Anakeesta (a sky park that you take gondalas to reach).

In the park, we hiked Lauren Falls, drove to Townsend Gap, and finished the week at Cades Cove (where this session took place). We also managed to squeeze in a trip to Dollywood located close by in Pigeon Forge!

Haylee and Troy were so kind to allow me to take some pictures of them in the park on the last day we were there. The snow capped mountains and incredible smoky mountain sunset made for the most gorgeous way to end the trip.
