Juliana + Joey's Virginia Beach Water Table Summertime Wedding
Juliana and Joey were married on the hottest day of summer 2019 (no, I’m not joking!).
Okay, so I’m not 100% it actually was the hottest day but it was forecasted to be the hottest day and it felt the hottest to me, so we’re going to say that it was definitively the hottest day of the year. We decided it would be ultra memorable (and sweaty), but mainly memorable.
When telling me about their first date, Juliana told me that she brought a friend along “in case he was a murderer” and I had to applaud her for being so smart, but also laugh because that was hilarious. Joey was most definitely not a murderer, and their love grew and flourished. They built a life and a family (of cats) in Virginia Beach and had moved to the oceanfront shortly before tying the knot. It was only fitting to have their wedding right at the beach, at the beautiful Water Table venue at Rudee Inlet.
The details were so stunning and so many of them put together by Juliana herself! I was blown away by how creative she was in specifically styling her decor and florals to accent the venue perfectly!
The sunny July day was incredibly beautiful and lots of family and friends surrounded the two as they said I do.
Afterward, we snuck back to Juliana and Joey’s for the most incredibly special portraits ever…with their FUR BABIES!
If you know me, you know I absolutely love cats! I have two black cats of my own, so when Juliana suggested incorporating their cats into a few of their portraits I freaked out (in a good way!)
As the night went on, the couple celebrated and threw one of the best dance parties I’ve ever been to! They knew throwing a big party and having a huge celebration was so important to them, and they definitely didn’t disappoint!
What an honor and joy to be able to celebrate one of the best days of these two’s life together! So grateful for Juliana and Joey and the opportunity to be able to work with them!
