Katie + Brady's North End Engagement Session

Katie and I first connected over instagram when she reached out to inquire about her wedding next June. After just a little bit of time emailing back and forth, we realized how much we had in common! She currently works for Regent University (where I used to work!) and used to work for United Way (I used to be at Samaritan House until recently!). Her and Brady met after they both relocated to the area - Brady for work and Katie to attend ODU.

They’ve made a home for themselves in Virginia Beach and have settled into the fun oceanfront community with their puppy Royce! When we started throwing around ideas for their engagement session, Katie and Brady knew they wanted to incorporate Back Bay Brewing - where they go every Thursday night for trivia night! I love little traditions that make up relationships, so I knew we had to do it.

After leaving Back Bay, we headed down a few miles to the 85th street to capture some gorgeous early-evening light coming over the dunes. To say their photos turned out dreamy is an understatement.

I’m so grateful that we were able to connect over our similar paths in life and that I’ll be able to serve them next year for their WEDDING at the gorgeous Montfair Resort Farm in Crozet, VA.
