Morgan + Zach, Big Meadows in Shenandoah

Morgan and I had been following each other for a little while on Instagram before she got engaged. She is good friends with another one of my brides, Hailey, and coincidentally they look like sisters! When she reached out to me about shooting her and Zach’s wedding I was so excited! Even more excited when they decided on one of my favorite places for their engagement pictures - Shenandoah!

Zach and Morgan met through the campus ministry that they both work for now. Morgan is currently at VCU, but will be transferring to working with Zach.

I asked Zach midway through the session what made her realize that Morgan was “the one”. He told me that it was when she told him that God’s calling on Zach’s life was more important than any relationship. Turns out the relationship was part of the plan :)

Getting to explore Big Meadows and the windy Timber Hollow overlook for sunset with Morgan and Zach was a session I’ll never forget. Especially because I found a fellow Peaky Blinders fanatic in Zach. Cillian Murphy is the BEST! Anyone else agree?!

These two were unfortunately one of my couples who had to reschedule their wedding celebration for sometime in the future due to the COVID-19 outbreak. But…they didn’t let that stop them from being together! Morgan emailed me a few weeks ago letting me know that they planned on moving forward getting married anyway and I was so incredibly happy for them! It seriously brings me so much joy seeing how people are not letting circumstances keep them from being together.
