Rainy Day Maternity Mini Session
I don’t think there’s anything that gets me more in the mood for fall and winter than a crisp and cool rainy day. Don’t get me wrong, bright & sunny autumn days definitely make me think of hayrides and football games but a cool, overcast, drizzly fall day is very quintessential Virginia fall time.
Alex and her family welcomed baby number 4 last year, and I wanted to show some highlights from their cinematically moody maternity session! Alex is also a photographer, and we were pregnant with our fourth at the same exact time! It was fun to have someone else to walk through that season with and the whole season of mothering and homeschooling!
Alex picked a beautiful Free People maroon floral dress and it was absolute perfection on her. The dark color really highlighted the season and made it all the more moody and beautiful!
