Baby #4 — A Surprise Worth Waiting For

Baby #4 — A Surprise Worth Waiting For

There’s something extra special about a fourth baby.

Not just because it’s baby number four—but because by this point, families tend to do things a little differently. A little slower. A little more intentionally. And in this case, a little more privately.

Emily and Cameron recently welcomed their fourth baby, and from the very beginning, this pregnancy felt different in the best way.

Choosing Privacy in a Very Public World

Emily made the intentional decision to keep this pregnancy off social media—and honestly, I loved that.

There was something so refreshing about it. So grounding. It felt like a quiet return to a time when not everything was shared in real time—when big life moments were held close and experienced fully before being shown to the world.

It gave this entire season a sense of purity that’s hard to describe but easy to feel.

The Sweetest Kind of Anticipation

After four girls, you can imagine the anticipation surrounding this baby.

We’ve all been holding our breath, wondering… will this one be a boy or another girl?

I’m calling it now—I’m team boy.

But honestly, that’s part of the magic. The not knowing. The waiting. The shared excitement that builds with every passing week.

A Session Full of Real Life Moments

This session came together in a way that felt so true to real life.

Cameron had just gotten home the night before after spending five weeks working in the Northeast. Less than 12 hours later, he jumped straight into family photos—no downtime, just right back into what matters most.

And somehow, that made the session even more meaningful.

We met in downtown Norfolk by the Chrysler, right along the Hague. The light was soft, the morning was calm, and everything just flowed.

Emily and I even found ourselves reminiscing about the giant rubber duck that floated there years ago—one of those random, shared memories that turns into laughter mid-session.

We walked, talked, laughed, and captured some truly stunning mid-morning images.

A Small Glimpse Into Their Story

As of early 2026, I’ve made the decision to keep children’s faces off my website for privacy reasons.

What you’re seeing here is just a small glimpse into this session—but even in these subtle moments, you can feel the connection, the joy, and the anticipation of what’s to come.
