Lonnie Carter Newborn Session

Talk about a throwback! Today on the blog I’m highlighting a few of my favorite pictures from one of my best friend Holly’s newborn sessions.

I’ve been so blessed to have been able to capture both of Holly’s maternity and newborn sessions so far, and I hope to be able to do every one of her future babies too!!

Lonnie was born safely and wonderfully at home back in the end of January, and has been such a joyful and smiley addition to the Carter family. Fleet is the cutest big brother ever and I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I do!

Holly is the first friend I met that was passionate about motherhood. What I mean by that is that she pivoted my mindset on homemaking big time. She’s taught me so much, and encouraged me so much, on what homemaking looks like, and how motherhood (though not always pretty) is always worth it. Since getting close with Holly, I’ve intentionally tried to invest in other friendships that also put a high value on the beautiful gift of motherhood.
